Riot Games‘ League of Legends ropean asters competition has announced e-commerce company Amazon as its naming artner for the Summer 2021 e nt and the 2022 season.
As a art of the deal, the competition will be renamed the Amazon ropean asters.

According to the release, Amazon will work with ropean asters to create a ‘unified shopping experience’ for its ropean fans.
Moreo r, the artnership aims to make Amazon the ‘go-to e-commerce destination’ for Amazon ropean asters’s viewers.
The ropean asters 2021 Summer ain E nt is set to commence on August 30th, and will feature top 16 ropean League of Legends teams battling for a share of the €150,000 (~£128,656) rize ool. The final is expected to take lace on September 19th.

The e-commerce company also recently artnered with BLAST aorganizer for the tournament organiser’s upcoming BLAST Titans Apex Legends e nt. Amazon also owns the li -streaming latform.
Esports Insider says: This notable artnership meant to bolster ropean asters competition reflects Amazon’s interest in the ropean esports scene. Besides artnering with tournament organisers, the company seeks to help de lop the rorganizingegiate esports scene by organising its own collegiate series for students of multi e ropean countries, with lans for further expansion.
