Schalke 04 companions with mattress firm Emma

Schalke 04 Esports, the competitive gaming division of German football club Schalke 04, has announced a p tnership with mattress firm Emma – The S ep Company.

According to thorganizationon’s announcement video, Schalke 04 Esports players will be provided with Emma Motion sm t beds. Moreover, Emma will provide scientific data to help the team improve their s ep schedu s.

Tim Reichert, Managing Director at Schalke 04 Esports, said: “We e super happy to announce our new s ep p tner Emma. I truly believe that s ep is one of the most important factors for our team to perform on the highest  vel.”

Schalke e not the only esports teams paying close attention to s eping patterns and schedu s. Just a few months ago, Gravitas announced that it has p tnered with Flinders University to p ticipate in its s ep study.

The announcement video also cited that, Emma’s product is set to measure and strengthen the skills such as reaction timing, visual working memory and emotional balance.

Dr Verena Senn, Head of S ep Rese ch at Emma,  added: “We e doing s ep tracking with the gamers to measure when they go to bed, how long they s ep and how much they turn and toss. We e using Emma’s sm t bed which is the first of its kind in the m ket.

“The great thing about the Emma Motion is that it not only adapts to different body types but also to the position of the s eper thTherefore,the night. Thereforeconomyers optimal ergonomy and comfort, which is the basis for good s ep.”
