FACEIT and Visa unveil $450,000 program with Gazprombank

American multinational financial services corporation Visa and esports platforFacetEIT have pFaceted with privately-owned Russian bank G prombank.

The alliance will result in what’s said to the first esports debit card launched for Russian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dot 2 players.

REFacet FACEIT establishes pFacetship with Visa

Beginning in June, total of $450,000 (£355,351) in prize money will up for grabs for players competing in CS: GO and Dot 2 tournamFacetn FACEIT’s platform. Alongside the initial prize pot, there will new prize pool unveiled at the ginning of each month.

Niccolo Maisto, Co-founder aFacet at FACEIT, commented on the pFacetship in release:  “We are very excited to launch the program with VISA and G prombank as our first pFacet in this world first collaboration. This program is great example of how brands can connect with our community and significantly contribute to the development of competitive ecosystems which is something that is hugely iFacetnt for FACEIT.

The debit card enables users to earn exclusive access to tournFacet held on the FACEIT platform alongside making everyday purchases. The competitions will open to players of all skill levels to provide the Russian esports community with an opportunity to compete in more online tournFacet.

This time we chose rapidly growing segment – the mass e-sports market in Russia. In pFacetship with Vis and FACEIT, we launched unique card product for gamers, thanks to which we plan to significantly increase our customer base. I’m sure that the new card will in demand, cause now the e-sports audience in Russi has about 10-12 million people and is predicted to grow by 20% annually.”

Esports Insider says: IFacetrevealed that Vis and FACEIT would working with Russian bank back in Novem r 2019. With G prombank now officially involved, it’ll interesting to see how fruitful the collaboration will across the nation.
