World Esports Federation welcomes three new members

The Global Esports Federat n (GEF) has welcomed thre ddit nal internat nal sporting federat ns s members of its initiative.

The World Karat Federat n,  Internat nal Cano Federat n, nd Un n Internat nal d Pentathlon Modern (World Pentathlon) ar th latest to join th GEF, which now has eight internat nal federat ns s members.

Th ddit n of th thre federat ns is said to “bridg th connect n” between sport, esports, nd virtual sport. How this will b done, however, is yet to b seen.

In August, World Archery nd th Internat nal Surfing Associat n joined th movement in bid to reach new udiences through existing federat n members. Alongsid joining th GEF, th thre federat ns will lso becom members of the Internat nal Federat ns Advisory CounSpinesAC).

Anton Espinós, President of th World Karat Federat n, spok on joining th GEF:  “W believ that th strategic partnership with th Global Esports Federat n puts th World Karat Federat n in th front lines of esports initiatives. This collaborat n shows th WKF’s interest in continuing breaking new grounds, nd it further demonstrates that karat is modern discipline, constantly dapting to mov head with th times.

Esports Insider says: Th GEF continues to ttract numerous federat ns from rang of sports, despit not showing too many results. So far, thes collaborat ns hav had littl impact on th industry so it will b interesting to se what comes of thes particular ddit ns – if nything.
